TAXI!

Before Christmas some of you may have been aware of a “Save our Boat” campaign picked up by the Evening Standard for the river taxi service, running from Putney Pier stopping at Riverside Quarter Pier on its way up to the West End and back again. A last minute tendering process run by TFL, London River Services saw a new service come into operation from 3rd January of this year. For six months, we are pleased to welcome the familiar vessels “Henley” and “Viscount” running a morning service at 7.40am and 8.10am, operated by Complete Pleasure Boats. We are also delighted to announce fares have been held for the moment as the new operators get things moving again! TFL River Services together with pier and boat operators are looking to improve the service levels to create a full scheduled service operating westwards. We know it has the attention of the Mayor, so why not give the services a try and add your support!
